Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Protokol service at getprotokol.app (the “Service”), operated by Y. VERTA HOLDINGS LTD, an Israeli private limited company (company no. 516052958) (“Protokol”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Protokol is an AI meeting assistant that can join your online meetings, record and transcribe them, check your uploaded question checklists against what was said, and produce summaries, action items, recap emails, and filed records. Features depend on your subscription plan.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.

3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

• You must have the right to record and process the meetings you submit to the Service, and to obtain any consent required from other participants under applicable law.
• You will not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, or in breach of our payment processor’s acceptable-use requirements.
• You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

4. AI output disclaimer

Transcripts, summaries, answer sheets, and any referenced regulations are generated by automated systems and may contain errors. They are an aid, not legal, financial, medical, or compliance advice. You must review outputs before relying on them or submitting them to any regulator or third party.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Paddle, who acts as Merchant of Record. Prices and plan limits are shown on our pricing page. Plan usage limits are applied per billing period. Taxes may apply. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period and does not renew thereafter. See the Refund Policy for our money-back guarantee.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service and its software. You own your meeting content and the outputs generated for you, and you grant us the limited rights needed to process and deliver the Service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protokol is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
